Default AWD front strut removal question.

Every video/guide I see about removing the front struts involve either undoing the upper balljoint/control arm or tie rod for more room. Can I just remove the strut by unbolting the top nuts, and the bottom 19mm on the C-arm? I did that method when I use to have a g37 (which doesn't appear dramatically different in front suspension anatomy to the RC).

Yes, but i think the sway bar link as well. My son and i did it on my AWD when we put lowering springs on.
