Driver seat airbag bypass help please
I've replaced the stock driver seat with a recaro for lower seating position, really dissapointed that it's only a tiny bit lower than stock with FIGS base, recaro rails, and brackets. And now the airbag light is on.
I boughta 2.2 Ohm resistor from this source: https://bradshacks.com/product/airbag-simulator/
The airbag message didn't clear, I've disconnected the battery for 20 minutes, and restarted the car, airbag comes on right away.
I bought one resistor so it could be a bad sodler, but assuming the resistor is good... Is the light just supposed to go away without me doing anything or is there a procedure to clear the light? Did I buy the wrong resistance?

There's a magnetic sensor thing, seat position sensor I think, on the OEM seat belt system that you have to transfer over to the new seat bracket.
It's a few bolts to remove, I originally left it unplugged on the oem seat, once transferred over there's no more airbag light, the sensor is magnetic so it will stay in place once you find a place to stick it.
