Hi all,
Question about flashing airbag light in dash: Does this mean the complete airbag system will not work if set off?
The light is flashing because have removed the passenger seat and disconnected the airbag in the seat (temporarily removed for more space in cabin)
When I put seat back in airbag light goes away.
I wanted to know, if the airbag light is flashing, does it mean just the passenger airbag won't deploy if set off because its unplugged? Or by default does the whole system not get set off when the light is flashing?

Please help with any answers or even just thoughts ... ?

I don't know for certain but it would surprise me if it disabled the whole system.
Since you have removed the seat it is detecting that the side airbag is missing but should just be a warning.

 

Actually, Airbag light isn't flashing sorry, its staying lit after turning the key on rather than flashing
