The airbag on light is staying lit all the time when someone is sitting in passenger seat of my 2015 Lexus IS 250. I've never noticed this before. Is this an issue I should be concerned about.

Are you referring to the "Airbag ON" light? If so, that is normal when someone sits in the seat...it's letting you know the airbag for the passenger is active.
Why would the light not come on? (You may be thinking)...if the passenger is a small child that doesn't meet the weight requirements, the airbag may be off, as indicated by the light...or if you rest something on the seat that has some weight (like a full briefcase), but is not heavy enough to have the airbag active.

 

Reviving this thread....

Recently, with no passenger or weight the Passenger Airbag light turns ON. Never have any issues with a passenger actually sitting there.

Isn't it suppose to be off when no weight or passenger is detected?
