I don't have a problem posting pics in the gallery. Can't seem to post pics in the forums though. I follow the same process but I get a message saying the pics are too big. How do I resize?
I have some wheel pics I want to post.

Shrink the resolution down...so that basically the image size shrinks and CL allows you to post it.

Use some type of photo editing software. What software do you have handy to do this?

Reggie, you can just go into the gallery and

1. Click on the pic you want to use. once it comes up

2. Right click on it and select properties

3. Highlight the address and copy it

4. Come back to the post and click on the IMG tag

5. Paste the address in there and post it up!!

Hope this helps!

Thanks DGOT20s, it worked.

GS4fun, I'm going to need a little more instruction for your method. I have windows xp My Pictures program. I tried resizing, changed some settings but they didn't stay. Can you give more specific instructions? Thanks.

All Windows OS come with a program called "Paint". you may find this program by the following:

Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Paint

Open the Paint program and then open up the image file you would like to edit using the program.

Once you have opened the image within paint...do the following to shrink the size of the picture:

1. select "image" and then "Stretch/Skew"

2. a new window will pop up, you want to enter the same smaller percentage values for the "Stretch" section for both horizontal and vertical values. for the example 50% and 50%. then hit ok.

3. use "save as" to save you file so that you don't lose your original:

file > save as

4. you want to save the file as a .jpg type file. just click the drop down box and select "JPEG" and then type in a name for the picture. then you are all done.

see picture below for demonstration. if the picture is still too big for upload (over 100 KB), then size it down more.
