Default Intake Problems

Hey whats up dudes? i just installed a RMM intake (1st generation intake) into my 99GS400. looks cool but now i cant get my car to start. someone want to tell me if i forgot to do something? i tried resetting the ecu already

1st gen GS3 intake on a 2nd gen GS4, that may be the problem. If the 1st gen intake works for 2nd gen with different engine, RMM probably would sell only one intake for all GS.

no no no, RMM made 2 intake version for the GS400, i have the first one. the second one is the one with a bad rep

would it be an issue if i installed the O2 sensor backwards?

oh i think he was confused with how u xplained it, u meant that RMM made 2 versions of the intake 4 u'r gs400 and u have the 1st version right?

then that explains why my car wouldnt stay on, thanks guys! ill try my new solution on tuesday maybe

Make sure the mass airf flow sensor is not flipped around upside down as well. That's very easy to do, did that on my intake when I painted it and had a starting problem.
