Default 2017 IS200T BMS Intake Review

You barely hear anything in the cabin while driving, unless you're on an empty, quiet road with the radio off and even then, it's not much.

Pros:
Perfect fitment
Easy installation (does not come with instructions, but you don't need it)
An AEM filter does bolt right on, no modifications required.
Half the price of AEM/Injen and does almost (key word) the same thing.

Cons:
This is not met to be used in winter, the salt will destroy this adapter.
There's a reason this video is filmed with the hood open... that's the only way to actually hear this intake properly.
It should have came with a longer 10mm bolt to screw into the car, since the one that's there is too short.

Overall, you're paying for the adapter, which fits perfectly on the car. Great experience with BMS and will definitely do business with again! It's not their fault the IS200T can't make more noise than this

Thanks!
It's been a few weeks since I have it and it was definitely a waste of money!

The nose after the psst sounds like flutter where back pressure is hitting the impellers. if you google/youtube you will know what i mean by the sound.

If you're considering an intake for noise and a bit more power, I tested the DC Sports and it gained 17whp

Haven’t seen any intake FS posts in a while so I thought I’d post here. I’m considering buying a BMS because it’s so easy to install and you don’t have to remove the whole stock intake. Had one before but sold it because I thought I was going to return my car after lease was up. Ended up keeping it. If anyone is in the Pasadena/San Gabriel area that’s looking to sell theirs, lmk. Sorry mods if I broke any rules.
