I'm in a bit of a predicament and just looking for some insight...

2012 IS350 with Invidia Mid-Pipe Cat delete - Shop I went to said they would hold OEM part, but when I went back to get it, they had gotten rid of it (I should of never left it obviously)

I passed smog visual once 2 years ago but did not go well, guy was pissed and threw a fit, yelling, making phone calls, but thankfully passed me. I am due for smog now and really am tired of the anxiety knowing I'll have to go through that again, etc. I doubt he will pass me a 2nd time. Seriously considering purchasing OEM mid-pipe for about $1200 from Lexus Dealership....

Dose anyone know a different solution if I really don't want to keep dealing with this every 2 years? I am not ***** deep into the forums, so I am unsure of where I could find a used OEM mid-pipe besides clublexus.com which I am having no success locating a used one. Do I have any other options here!? Any insight is greatly appreciated...Live in the OC

 

1. Why not go to a different smog place?
2. Have you tried OfferUp or Craigslist?
3. I'm not on Facebook, but you could try their marketplace as well

Thanks, I actually reposted it where you suggested to see if I get any more input. Will checkout Facebook Market place.

Regarding another smog shop, I’m kind of over having to deal the possibility of failing and want to go back to OEM, or anything with the cats back in place.
