i know this has been talked about to death , and i have used the search func went through 50+ pages and still could not really get anything real decisive about this


Mods if you could bear with me i would appreciate it


between the srt intake rmm intake and weapons r which one does work and which does not take from low end trq and hpr.

with the srt , any check eng light problems



guys please give me real feedback for i am about to buy one but dont want to waste money

if the diff between the 3 in terms of perf is negilble which one would you prefer

well i had the weapon-r and the engine light came on all the time , i would reset it but after a couple of days or if i drove it hard it would come back on, i hadthe srt 4 2 months now i think and no light has come , not much of a drag at 1st like some say but when it opens up , my god!!!!

i am about to buy this unit used for about 250 , only thing is his filter is the kn type. can this be changed to say the blitz type or can i get from mo at srt the upgraded version

if u want the blitz u will need 2 do a modification cus cus the srt intake is 3.5" , so u need a filter that fits that, the biltz comes in 4.5" and 3" i think.... u could get the srt supplied filter, its actually not made by srt , its made by a company callled aem, try thier website, that what i did,

sorry i gave u the incorrect name b4 , its called AFE. try afefilters.com or do a yahoo search 4 sites that sell the filter...as far as the wiring my buudy from the isforum (unclenick) did the wiring at his shop, it was a pain in the butt 4 them . i'm not good with wires, sorry bro. pm unclenick he might have some info he can share as 2 how.

I've talked to many with intakes, and even the SRT seems to rob some low end torque. It's hard for me to say if my K&N robbed low end torque, I think it might have just a tiny bit initially, but it sure feels like it hasn't now. I also have the higher stall TC which helps launch anyway. I LOVE the sound of the K&N intake. Heat shield is well done too.

I have the K&N FIPK Intake System and LOVE IT! One of the only CARB certified units so you can get smogged too! Also has some of the best "proven" gains...

those have have the srt intake can you please talk up , does it or does it not lose some low end grunt trq i do have the rmm exaust
