SRT intake?

i've been reading about the intakes and the 2 best seem to be the weapon r dragon intake or the SRT intake....from what i've read the SRT is new and supposed to be better...has anyone used one or tried it? and does anyone know where i could order one from or how much it costs? or would i be better of juss getting the weapon r??

Weapon R and the word best will never be a fact. Just do a search on Weapon R and you will see the bad remarks and press they've gotten for poor CS and quality issues. This isn't just in CL, but many other Toyota boards on the internet. Stay away from them.

BTW, SRT doesn't make intakes for the 1MZ/3MZ engine found in the RX. Only for 2JZ-GE's found in the IS/GS and the 1UZ/3UZ V8 for the GS.

so then whats engine mods would you suggest to help the life and performance of my lex??

Simply use an aftermarket replacement filter like K&N, etc... You will probably get the same type of HP numbers from the replacement filter as you would from the Weapon R intake.
