My Stage 1 should be installed by August 1. I was just hoping for some info from SRT turbo-ed IS300 owners. Get any traction? Do you ever increase boost? and for how long? How much fun is it to drive away the day its installed?! Any info would be great.

Does anybody in So-Cal have an SRT turbo kit besides OCIS?

 

OCIS has one of remaining SRT s/c's not a turbo.

I believe he has a stage 2 turbo kit. I know because I saw it.

 

Oh yea, I think I remember him saying that somewhere now. last i heard he was trying to get it running and was having trouble with it. How's it going now?

 

He told me the problems, but I don't exactly remember what they were. In any case, I think he got it repaired. I look forward to comparing his turbo IS with mine.

Sorry about the delay in your reply. It's kinda hard for me to give you a detailed input of the SRT Stage 1 turbo kit due to the fact that I never had the Stage 1 kit in my car. AS for my Stage 4 kit, I must say I'm very happy with the performance of the kit. Too bad I'm in the East Coast for you West Coast boost seekers. Hey Ethan, I make trips to L.A. 2-3 times a year, and I'll be in L.A. on July 31st. I would really like to check out your new PHR beast and maybe get a ride in it from the Boosted IS owners perspective. Anyways, good luck on the Stage 1 kit, and always know you can upgrade to Stage 2 with ease if the need for more whp occurs which is most likely.

 

ocis has stage 2 SRT 1st gen Turbo Kit now. I'll let him catch this thread and response himself.
