Sounds great! I also ordered my Ark GRiP from Meraki Autoworks. How's the drone? Mine drones pretty badly at 2k RPM and wanted to know if it was just me experiencing this?

 

Thanks! Drone isn't bad. The drone was horrible on the drive back with it because the back seats were down. I feel there's less drone than my tsudo catback which is a bit more quiet than the Ark. After over a month with it, I don't think it's loud enough haha.

 

We all suffer the drone there, but I got used to it.

 

Exactly, I got used to drone the very 2nd day with it. Just turn up some music and it'll be nonexistant.

 

Nice! Yeah driving on the streets the drone isn't a problem at all. It's only on the highway going at constant speed where the car wants to hang in the 2k RPM range is where it gets very loud and prominent IMO. Just went on a 4hr road trip and the drone was killing me man, I want to sell it to go back to an axleback, but it sounds so good on the outside! Sidenote, does your AFE intake make a noticeable sound change? My Fsport intake sounds completely stock haha.

 

Btw, for those wondering, the videos Saneddie posted are probably the best and most accurate videos of the Ark catback exhaust for the IS350. Other videos don't capture the true tone, but the videos above are pretty darn true to what you're going to hear in person.
