Super old thread, sorry to revive it from the graveyard. Any updates someone could provide? This was all theoretical. Anything been produced since??

 

Hey man, more than a year ago I actually got a rebuilt turbo from: https://gottuned.com/product/lexus-i...upgrade-is300/ . Selected the 380 crank HP version with the hopes of D3 Performance adding a tune for that turbo specifically (they had promised this which is why I switched from TTI Motorsports Stage 2+). Unfortunately, I think the project is dead, but the good news is is that I still have great power with the D3 tune and upgraded turbo, but it can definitely get refined. Thinking about buying the D3 tuning software and bringing it to a tuning shop to switch from 93 to 91 (I'm in CA so I mix 101 and 91 at the pump to get 93) and get some more power. I'll try my best to keep you updated or you can DM me on insta.

 

upgraded Turbo from d3 is still in the work but there is much boost turbo which is more than enough for the current advancements due to the ecu limited the torque after 280 trq but there have been a lot of progress over the last year when the ecu is unlocked guessing it will be around the 350whp range shouldn’t be much longer
