Hi gs300,

I'm a little confuse, When you said for a gs3 is for gs300 or for gs 3er generation?

If is for gs300 you need to know that after you buy any header like you want, that header if you not install the extension for the O2 sensors
your check engine light want to be ON all the time. But if you try to say ( exhaust manifold ) like original one, you need to know that from 1998 to
2000 the exhaust manifold is different from 2001 to 2005. The exhaust manifold from 1998 to 2000 you can buy the cat separated and installing in you original exhaust.
From 2001 to 2005, you have to buy the full exhaust manifold with the cat, because the cat come all in one piece with the exhaust. eBay and Amazon have a lot of them
for both cars no matter what say 1998 to 2005. You need to double check before you buy the correct one.

No need for headers, just go turbo or do a swap.

Naturally aspirated modifications to the 2JZ-GE are a waste of money. The engine will be outperformed by NA-Ts, V8s, and GTEs no matter what.

As others have said no point to mod a Gs300 without the GTE or NA-T setup.
