Default From DSM to IS300

Hey everyone so I'm new to IS300s but not to boost. My first setup was a 1g Talon w/16 and e85 but I like driving my cars more than once a month so I've decided to come to the 2jz side. Anywho..

I'm picking up an IS soon so I've been doing some research into my parts build and would love some feedback. Pretty big budget on this build but I'm not trying to go completely wild.

I'm shooting for mid 600hp on a DD that will see the track every once in a while but will mostly be a weekend driving car (e85 as well).

Turbo: PTE6466 or 6870
Injectors: ID 1340 cc
Fuel Pump: Duel Walbros
ECU: AEM Infinity
Cams: Kelford 272
Cam Gear: HKS
Springs/Retainers: Manley Springs and Ti Retainers
Waste Gate: Dual 44mm or single 60mm
Transmission: r154
Clutch: ACT extreme PP with 6-puck
BOV: Tial
Gauges: Boost/Oil Pressure/Wideband
Fuel Rail:
AFPR:
Brakes/rotors:
Intercooler:
Exhaust Manifold/open dump?:
Intake Manifold:
Throttle Body:
Exhaust:
Intake:
Radiator/fans:

The blanks are still things that I am undecided and still working on. The block/trans will also be getting rebuilt with whatever I go. I've seen that the r154 should be able to hold my hp range because I'm not trying to go v-160/161 quite yet.

Let me know what you think, thanks!

If you'd ever list the car officially, huh?

Yeah, I actually kind of dread the day where you contact me and say "OK, car is available for $xxxxx" to be honest. Then I'll really have a dilemma. LOL!

rbo: PTE6466 or 6870. I would look at the 6266
Injectors: ID 1340 cc. I would use ID1000, they have plenty of room to go 700 on e85
Fuel Pump: Duel Walbros
ECU: AEM Infinity. Infinity Bixes have issues, v2 may be better choice?
Cams: Kelford 272. Stock cams are just fine for 600hp, but if you must 264 may be better suited for your power level
Cam Gear: HKS. Don't use cam gears unless you actually need them
Springs/Retainers: Manley Springs and Ti Retainers
Waste Gate: Dual 44mm or single 60mm
Transmission: r154
Clutch: ACT extreme PP with 6-puck
BOV: Tial
Gauges: Boost/Oil Pressure/Wideband computer will watche these
Fuel Rail: stock fuel rail, I'm making over 1100 on it
AFPR: computer controlled
Brakes/rotors: brembo
Intercooler:
Exhaust Manifold/open dump?:
Intake Manifold: stock im running it
Throttle Body: you should stay stock for response, i'm only running a gs400
Exhaust: custom or buy my old 3" turbo back...I went 4"
Intake: pipe+filter...nothing special
Radiator/fans: stock

Great list, those are some great choices in parts and you shouldn't have an issue
