Default Apexi WS vs Tanabe HSM ?

I've narrowed down my exhaust choices to either the Apexi WS or the Tanabe HSM . Who has knowledge of both of these systems ?

Well, I just installed a Tanabe Super Hyper Medallion catback on my car. From the looks of it, both the Apex'i and Tanabe look extremely similar. However, I do believe that the Apex'i does not have stainless steel piping, whereas the Tanabe is. So if you live in an area where they use salt on the roads in the wintertime, you'd probably wanna stay away from anything non-stainless steel.....plus stainless steel piping is lighter as well.

I have the Apexi WS on my GS.. I was under the impression that the pipes were SS but not polished like the mufflers... Both of the choices are good ones, but both are very similar.....

Hmmm, looks to me like the piping is not stainless. The piping color suggests aluminized/painted mild steel like the normal N1 exhaust systems. The Apex'i GT spec line is semi-polished stainless steel.

MrSypher,

Can you take some picture of your rear bumper from the side? I would like to know how far the WS sticks out, not like I'm interested in Lsportline kit but curious to know. Thank you very much.
