That's a tough one...I would be leaning a little towards the Tanabe Touring edition...

I know the Tanabe is a great exhaust but I don't like the way the cans hang down so low. Plus, they run about $150 more from best prices I've seen which is quite some change.

I could be wrong but I believe the World Sport is more of a budget exhaust. The Tanabe has stainless steel piping the whole way back so you never have to worry about rust etc...the Apex is just coated steel so everytime it scrapes etc... it's going to eventually rust wherever the coating gets scraped off and around the flanges.

better sound? judgemental and purely on a personal opinion
better performance? you're not going to get a whole of hp from exhaust. for the most part, it's a noise maker.

imho, i've always loved the tanabe MT...my vote for that

Can anyone else here verify or comment on the quality of materials used on each brand? is there really quite a difference in materials and construction or is this hearsay?

Tanabe is stainless so there's really nothing else to say on that.

Thx for the reference but there's no way to tell which brands Tanabe is referring to. Guess the only way to find out is to call Apexi and ask about their materials.

By the way, Tanabe's website promotes new, lower prices....nearly 10%....but it doesn't seem any of the vendors have passed this along based on prices quoted over the last few months.
