It's not everyday that a car guy is able to install a supercharger on his car. especially one that is chrome looking. I looked into it before I chose to get it polished and found that once it's done, I can seal it with a product called zoop's and its made for limiting the oxidation on polished surfaces. sort of like clearcoating paint. so onward thru the fog.

Making a ton of progress. Got the aem analog guages in and installed in my custom a pillar and wired into the dash light dimmer switch so they dim with the other dash lights. mounted the aem meth. injection reservoir and pump in the trunk and in the process of running the wiring from the control unit tucked under the dash back to the motor. I'm going to be installing in the next few days my air intake temperature gauge in a really trick location. I'll reveal it once it's done. Also, mounting the injectors and fuel rails to the supercharger manifold. the other stuff for the supercharger are all done. the manifold is completely done and drilled and tapped, hole cut for airflow from supercharger, installed new rear case bearings in supercharger for preventative maint. just incase. So It is progressing along as planned.

Not intentionally trying to toot my own horn, but I wanted all to see the beauty of the side intake elbow that connects the throttle body to the side of the supercharger. It goes from 3 inches round at throttle body to a smooth mandrel 90 degree bend than to a 2x4 inch oval. Its a work of art.
And I fabbed up the fuel rails also. So Im targeting next weekend for the install. after some cosmetic stuff on the supercharger.

Update
I don't want anyone to put me in the "never got done" category of builds that never completed. This is an official update. So last weekend I went to install the supercharger and ride off into the sunset until I encountered an issue with my factory fuel line that connects the two fuel rails together. Due to the custom supercharger manifold, The original hard steel preformed fuel line that connected the two fuel rails together would not mount up. therefore I was dead in the tracks. I attempted to slightly bend the fuel line but discovered quickly that the steel line is unforgiving. Therefore, I had to start from scratch on my fueling. So I wound up sourcing a bunch of beautiful black 6 an fittings from jegs, siliconeintakes.com, and treadstone performance. yes I know it sounds stupid to order from three different sources but I had good reason. So now i have all the fittings in and they all check out and fit together, I can proceed this weekend with the supercharger install. Also my original plan to use the stock air box and scoop on top of radiator went out the window. So I will be using a aem dry flow air filter with a maf flange adapter welded onto the 3 inch intake pipe I have. So it should look really clean and well put together. My neighbor painted the supercharger and side intake pipe and I hope I don't get clowned for it because it looks over the top. gloss black with lots of red flake and three coats of clear. lol.

ya drove it to work today. because it didn't have an air filter on it because the one i ordered hadn't shown up yet, it was wanting to stall sometimes if i stopped quick. but now i have the air filter on and it smoothed out the air going across the mass air flow sensor so it runs really well. i lightly blipped the throttle and it hit 4psi. so tomorrow if its not raining ill take it to wot. the air fuel ratio is fat at 11:1 which is really safe. maybe it'l lean out if I go higher in boost. the supercharger is really loud when boost is being built but dead silent while cruising. pretty cool.
