"Satellite switch" in 2008 Lexus IS 350???

Default "Satellite switch" in 2008 Lexus IS 350???

Can anyone explain the purpose of this switch? What is it for? What does it do? I don't understand its purpose. I was playing with it and caused my tire pressure warning light to come on. The dealer turned it off when I took the car in for oil change. I know several of my fellow members can explain this to me. Thanks.

You're talking about the SAT button found on the head unit?

My "satelite" button displays and helps me switch between the TPMS functions, the AFS functions, the parking sensors function, and maybe something else...I forget.

So when to toggle either side buttons or the center button, do you see anything change on your cluster display? You need to be in PARK by the way.
