Default Turbo kit for '03 GS300

Hello people,

quite new Lexus fan since January, owner of '03 GS300. An amazing car - the quality and smoothness is mindblowing! Do not want anything else than GS/LS in a few years' time.

I have the issue - whether to invest in a Turbo kit, which costs around 1500 $ and gives 100-150 additional HP. Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-2JZGE...-/170763402963

Or put a kit together myself, which costs about 3K $ but gives more power.

I want to build this car as fast as a GS450h, but am not willing to put 3K into this car. I can buy an MR2 instead of tuning the GS or place the 3K to my account and gather the money to buy a GS450H.

So, the ultimate question - should I invest into a kit, is it more reasonable than buying all the items separately or should i abandon the project and start gathering money to buy the next gen 450h?

I just want it to be faster, but not willing to invest over 2K in it.
