srt intake
i will probably get killed 4 this but hey its my taste. this might sound stupid and i already did a search and found nothing and sent srt an email but they didn't respond. i have the weapon -r intake and wanted to switch to the srt with ecu, but i have a blue lex and did some custom painting to some engine parts in blue to match , does the or can i get the srt intake with ecu with blue instead of red or does it only come in red styling?

No, they do not offer them in a different color.
You can get a different brand filter and use it, same with the hoses. SRT used to use another filter which had a black bottom and was shaped a bit differenty, and also used black hoses, you could ask if they still have some of those.
Alternatively, I'm sure you'll be able to get hoses in blue from another source to replace the ones SRT give you, but doubt it on the filter. Get the black one or just tape off the filter parts of the orange/red K&N one and paint it to match.

I personally think it's important to get one at least the same size/shape to match their design. It absolutely has to fit the tube size. The K&N is a good quality performance filter too, never hear of 'ractive'.
The old black one they sold was a different shape which made a lot more noise than the newer one - so that's another factor.
I'd say just get the one that comes with it and take it with you to the auto parts store to try to match. Or someone can get you the part number so you can compare in store before you buy.

thank u very much, srt just replied to my mail, they advised me that it only comes in one color but that they have had this questioned posed to them b4 a couple of times( quess i'm not the only one) they gave me a company called thermal flex that they have sent cust. with this color concern b4 to, so i'll call them to c , but thanks 4 your help.

The intake tube is actually 3.5 inches wide.
