Default Exhaust Upgrade

I have a 250 F-Sport with a Greddy Air Intake and want to upgrade my exhaust. I started saving up for the exhaust and I have enough to either buy the axle back or the midpipe first. Anyone have a stock 250 with either Invidia Q300 Axle back or Invidia mid pipe? I am going to eventually buy the other half but for now I want something to give my car that extra boost in sound. Which would be a better choice to go with first and does anyone have any sound clips? Thanks!

I'd say start with Axle back first. Why not save up for more to get the whole cat back if you are planning to complete it anyways? You'll save some $$$ buying the package instead of buying each individual piece at a time.

The only reason I am buying one first is because there is a deal on it right now and I don't know how long it will last so why not purchase some of it on sale instead of waiting to buy the full system full price.

I would think that buying each piece on sale would equate (somewhat) buying a whole cat back. Plus if the actual cat back goes on sale, which it eventually will, then you still save even more. I'm waiting for those opportunities.

Anyways, here's one:

Yeah I see what you mean. If you had to pick one of the two things, which would make the car louder installed on its own? The axleback portion of the mid pipe? That's what I am wondering.

I'd say axle back would give more sound but not 100% on that.

Take a look at the older gen, should be comparable since it's the same engine:

I want to upgrade mine too. I was looking in to invidia q300 but looking for something similar to a 2013-2014 subaru sti exhaust sound. Any suggestion?

I don't think you can replicated that boxer sounds with a V6.
