Hi my name is kevin I have been following the forms for a while I have a 2002 gs300 sport design I have a full aristo swap in it running on stock electronics I resently hooked up an aem ems 1050 honda box in it and have Been trying to start it with no luck I called dezod and they were no help only wanted to make a profit can any one please help me with a start up cal I would appreciate it more than any thing I've been trying for a week and I'm about to give up lol

 

Can you get a stat sync? I can send you a test map.

I have a map that a friend of mine has on his is but it's turned for 750cc injectors I have aristo 440cc currently I get mis fire and pops but no start yes Jeff I get static sync

Nothing wrong with ems its just aem and vvti don't like each other lol.

 

aem vvti is fine, on 1050 you need to mod it and disconnect 2 resisters, you also have to run the stock ecu for the trans control

 

You have to run the stock ecu regardless the 2jzgte vvti wasn't meant to run on an arm or any standalone all by itself, you can but its not supposed to.

 

Yea I have it piggy backed off of the stock ecu every thing checks out I really need a start up map just to get it running the map I have get me static sync the motor try's to start but dosnt I have spark injector puls I really need some help and to add more problems I live in upstate ny no one dose aem just hondata and honda stuff I really need help I will pay any one if I can get a start up cal

 

If the base maps for settings for fcon and arm are similar i could probably help you but i don't know the aem ems.

 

Yea I honestly don't know either japspec I'm still new to the aem stuff never really delt with stand alones until now

 

you need to pull 2 resistors out of the ecu. you need to put a base map on it, if you goto your box and select 2jzgte for a supra it will not work

 

Yes sinistervr I had the resistor mod don't to the box I'm I know the supra map won't work on our cars I fount a map on my is but it's far a car with 750cc injectors. I get static sync with it pops try's to start but dosnt I need a map to start it getting a start up map is near to impossible. I don't. Know wat to do with this car

 

I'll see what that base map settings are for the jzs161 on the fcon software and see if its similar to your AEM. If it is possible get some screen shots from your AEM software settings and email them to me.
