Good stuff man. To think that with a few more mods you can be in the 12's. Did you have your spare tire and jack in the car?

Default Pump Gas?

If you did that on our winter blend pump gas that is doing quite well.

Very respectable!

I remember in the '70s when cars that turned times like that came in on trailers. We have come a long way.

I wanted it done with full interior and no weight reduction. So spare and jack stayed in. Tires were at 35 psi and with half a tank of gas.

It was on pump 91 octane gas. Cheveron gas for those who want it to be specific.

Very nice times indeed. I have to make the trip up there for some passes one day, LACR was the place to go for test and tune...when they were opened. I heard Sac Raceway is well prepped and taken care of.

Correct on that. They are very well prepped. Infact, after that run, I was informed that I will need a helmet or I will not be able to run it again. Any vehicles running 13's and under will need a helmet. They rent helmets too but I called it a day. I decided to sit on the bleachers and enjoy the show.

^I find it very odd that no matter the speed of your vehicle that they don't mandatorily have all racers wear helmets.

Anyways, that is very good in fact; but breaking into the 12s won't be possible unless boosted. With more practice you can get your 60 ft down to 2.0 as well!

I cannot wait for our local 1/8th mile track to open up for the season!

Your incorrect there a member who broke the 12.8sec 1/4 no boost. All he had was intake, axle back, street drag on rear and lesson the weight. Seen good few member hitting 13.1/13.2 also. I myself only got 13.4 colder weather the better.

Yes, the colder the weather, the more aggressive this car gets. In early Jan of this year, I tested my car (at the time with an injen sp intake only) on a nice dry pavement road at about 35 degrees Fahrenheit. It felt like a monster swapped honda as 1 to 2 and to 3rd gear was spinning ridiculous to get a hold of traction.

Comments also listed R compound tires and ALMOST crazy weight reduction with the passenger seat removed. LOL! Now, I do have to hand it to him that the vid/slip is legit...so it is totally possible, but NOT easy attained by any means.
