Is it possible to just unplug the vvt-i solenoid and run the car safely? My car is stuttering and bucking and I am wondering if I can unplug this as a way to trouble shoot the problem.

I am just wondering if unhooking the vvt-i solenoid will harm the engine.Does anyone know if it will?
