that looks nice! question…. will the warning light turn on when you switch the stock intake to the greddy intake?
No light was thrown and I have yet to receive one so no...always remember to screw back down the Sensor on the intake if it's not it will pick up humidity or heat and throw the light on
I want to get this CAI but i'm somewhat hesitant of buying one because of hydrolock. Have you had any issues with water getting into the intake?
It's not a CAI it's a short ram the CAI is a very long tube that goes way down by your wheel with the filter. You won't really get anything out of it besides a headache and stress of hydrolocking and if you open you hood you have a direct opening that leads right Into the stock air box or in this case the short ram intake
so i just installed my takeda intake. Loving it by the way! sounds like a monster.
idk if i am just being weird, but when i took it for a drive it felt like whenever i brake and slow down the ride feels jumpy…. anybody know if this is caused by the intake or is it all in my head?
Does anyone have trouble connecting the crank case tube when the greddy intake is installed. The tube is bent a certain way and it won't stay on the intake pipe?

That opening area swells after the intake gets hot. What I did was drive for about 10 mins and then put it on and it held tight
