Borla sounds nice (not too loud) and the pipe isn't huge (like you wanted) but the hangers are a bit strange and problematic for some owners. But for the money, the Borla is a good choice.
I have heard nothing but good response on the RMM exhaust and you can even hear it on there web site

But my problem is I have never heard on GS 300 and if any one knows what it sounds like please respond.

I just installed the Borla exhausts on my new GS430 on Saturday, Love the sound so far. I had my car dyno'd last week and I got 235 to the rear wheels with no modifications. I will do it again with the Borla's and post the results. My SRT intake and chip are coming in tomorrow, I will get that done next weekend and dyno the car again the following week. Keep you all posted.
Love that sound and look.

Although it sounds nice, I only got an increase of 1/2 of a horsepower on the Dyno. Fom 235.4 to 235.8. I guess if you are looking for the power you need to go with the Greddy Cat Back system for $800 an ruin the sound of the car. Anyway, I am happy with the look and the sound. SRT Intake with ECU going in this weekend. I will DYNO it again next week. Keep you posted.

I wanted to post a quick personal thank you for taking the time / money to do a dyno like this after you added the exhaust. It's been 'commonly thought' that the exhaust on a GS is not terribly restrictive and that adding exhaust won't buy you much in the way of HP. That is unless you're doing something like adding forced induction
.
Again - thanks for doing the before/after dyno. It's posts like these that really help build credibility for some of our theories!

No problem, I am glad to do it. I made a deal with the guy for $120 I can get three different sessions of two runs each. I can do it on my lunch break and get back to work in one hour. Not too bad and I really get the quick feedback from my $$ spent on mods. Two down and one to go! More next week!

sld: If you use the search function, you'll find tons of posts on the l-tuned exhaust. Your best bet is to listen to the exhaust in person, but that is easier said than done. Personally, I love the L-tuned on my GS. Sounds great, but it's much louder than stock. I don't mind/notice the drone issue many others have complained about. Because it was made by Lexus, the exhaust fit perfectly. Good luck.
sld: no problem, I'm glad to help. When I was deciding which exhaust to purchase, I had trouble choosing b/t the l-tuned and the borla. If you do go the l-tuned route, you won't be sorry! Unless you have a good hook-up, I'd recommend purchasing from Steve Ganz at Carson Toyota.
