Default exhaust help

I have an exhaust leak and need to get a new Y pipe as I heard it called. Is there a gasket, seal or anything else that will be required to get for this install. This is the pipe that I am getting. Thanks in advance. exhaust help-screen-shot-2013-06-14-at-11.01.41-am.png

Just post a thread on 2nd gen classifieds I'm sure there will be someone willing to sell their set up. U can get a used aftermarket midpipe for around $250-300. There is also a vendor section and you can get a good deal from on of the vendors. And from my understanding the exhaust system of AWD vs RWD are the same aren't they? If not, someone should say so. C'mon peeps lets help this guy out!!!

Not sure about that Magnaflow one but as far as I know nobody makes an aftermarket midpipe for the IS250 AWD (Invidia or Megan only fit the RWD)

As far as AWD and RWD having same exhaust, that's the axleback only

Here you go, that one is RWD only as well

You can do a custom Y-Pipe

Hey guys thanks for all the help. The more research I did the more I realized that there are no mid pipes for AWD. I went with the custom exhaust option that only cost me 200 and I am pleased. No added power or fuel mileage gained but from what I understand that would have been minimal in the 250 anyways. Thanks for all your help.

I just got quoted $3700 for midpipe back from the place that found my exhaust leak. I have an AWD as well. Where did you find the custom exhaust? Thanks.

you're probably getting quoted on the OEM midpipe that they probably get it from the stealership then markup another 10-20% for profit on parts alone

just replace the leak part with a weld-on pipe lol

there's a place local in Toronto that does custom front Y pipe for the IS250 AWD (or rwd, but no point in that) for $300 for both sides (parts and labour included) so that gives you an idea

Thanks for the help. I've been searching pretty heavily for suggestions since this afternoon. Unfortunately, I'd be shocked if Northern Virginia / DC area has a place that would be willing to do a custom fit for that cheap. The search begins tomorrow though.

If anyone in this area has suggestions on shops that could do this, I'm all ears.

Just saw that you posted this. Glad you got it fixed without falling for the dealership hustle.

Does this leak trigger a check engine light?
