Sorry guys... was extremely busy last week and am a bit this week as well so no progress on that project or my other car projects.

 

Damn... an extension is needed? I guess I should be happy to hear that before taking everything apart. ****-adkt, you wouldn't be interested in selling that piece on its own would you?

 

I will sell you the extension for $200 and throw the Y pipe in for free..

Going by what ****'s said and by pictures I've seen of his car in the past, the pipe isn't as long as the stock... either that, or his exhaust is just short

 

so angle of the flanges is good, just not long enough where the pipes meet?

if thats it, i think ill jump on one as well, the pipe mod isnt too bad then. i can here mine seperating from age

ah, i jumped in. ordered mine, if the pipe extension is all thats needed, then it should be ok... easy enough so long as the extension is at the single pipe portion!

 

keep us posted with pics... I plan on getting my high flow resonators removed this week...

is the megan piping just polished piping? not stainless i hope, ill probably do the measurements if i can, or if not, ill get my shop to do it. i trust thespeedsyndicates welding more than my own.

this is going together with the tanabe touring medallion, so should sound decent.

 

The pipe is stainless... I'm just going to do like **** and have a small bolt-on extension made when I get back from my surgery week-after-next.

 

I was hoping we would have some install pics after 2 months of waiting lol.
