I had invida midpipes installed on my 09 IS250 AWD and now my VSC and CEL lights are on!! I brought it back to the shop where it was installed and the guy said it might be my O2 sensors. I have been looking through this site for help but seem to find what I'm looking for. Has anyone else had these issues? What can I do?

 

axleback and midpipes/catbacks are simple bolt-ons and shouldn't have those problems
i'm sure they messed something up with the install

Is it possible it's related to the carbon build up recall? My car failed and does misfire but the lights weren't on until the mid pipe install. Also the pipes had to be modded to fit my car since it's awd so could that have caused the lights?

 

Depending on what they modded exactly that's certainly possible
