Yes, no kidding. Not even that but they did it as a good will gesture. I later found out that for some reason it wasn't covered under the 8 and 80,000 warranty nor was it under the platinum warranty. Under coverage, it just says good will gesture toward customer.

I have an 08 IS250 AWD, 65k miles and I also just discovered that I have a leak which is caused by corrosion of the cover to the pipe where the clamp is. Anyway, mechanic checked the other parts of the pipe and the cat coverter and everything looks fine except for leak from the corrosion. The solution was to cut out the pipe piece with the leak and weld a new pipe section in. Did this for both sides of the Y pipe and car is sound smooth. Total cost is just a few hundred...
