'06 IS250 AWD need exhaust mid-pipe?
Dealer wants $2000 for a new exhaust on my IS250. I'd rather just get an aftermarket to replace so I can pass inspection, the section that is bad is the section between the cats and axle. Maybe I can just get that part, but I wouldn't mind getting the whole thing. What I can't find on this site are any people that have an AWD and have added an exhaust even the exhaust sticky seems a bit out dated for this model. So I think I could get away with just mid pipe? don't really care about power, I'd like it to be like the stock in terms of sound. I would like fitment to be good as well because the car is lowered. Any help would be appreciated thanks!!

You may need to take it to a muffler shop and get one custom made. Axle back portion of the exhaust is the same weather it is an AWD or RWD model. But to my knowledge there aren't any mid pipes for the awd . Or hit up craigslist or search tempest to locate a car that is being parted out. Best of luck.

Went to a muffler shop Minekie (sp) got be all set up for <$200 with the inspection. Welded a whole new section on. Cats and all were good because it passed emissions without an issue.
Thanks for the advice!!!
