Default IS250 Hunting for Gears on Highway

I just bought a 2011 IS250 automatic and found that it "hunts for gears" when taking on any uphills or even small inclines on the highway. Don't know if anyone else had the same experience but what will happens is if I hit "even a small hill" the car would go from 6th to 5th and then whack it into 4th, keep it in 4th for a while and then back to 5th and 6th. It feels like driving a small 1.4L again, not what I expected from a 2.5L v6 Lexus. I have tried switching it to S mode or turning the ETC power button on or off, same result. Please help or just tell me this is normal. My Volvo S60 D5 never had this.
