Checking for Exhaust Leaks

How would I go about checking for exhaust leaks? I suspect that there may be a leak somewhere because I hear a pop sometimes when I slow down after coming off the freeway...

Hoovey is right, but I'd still like to know how to check for exhaust leaks, my invidia midpipe sounds a little strange right around 2850-3000rpm and I suspect it might be due to a bad seal.

An exhaust leak will normally sound like a "tick" that comes from underneath the car. Certainly not related to a backfire or pop. This is indicative of running aftermarket exhaust. Something to do with cooler air occasionally being drawn into the pipe from the rear......

What you're describing sounds like backfire, but if you want to check the exhaust for leaks, get under the car and have someone cover the end of the exhaust pipes. Then carefully (without touching so you don't burn yourself) run your hands around the area to see where air is leaking out.
