Work looks outstanding guys. One question though...

I am not trying to mouth, but am curious as to whether you think this car will actually run quick times.... Reason I ask is because the "700 HP" blower GS only ran 12.0s and 117 MPH traps if I am not mistaken...

-Ethan

Edited because I had an "S" instead of "H" in MPH.

I didn't mean to come off offensive, I was just curious because we have a '01 GS430, and may be interested if it actually runs out well.

I believe the car you are referring to dynoed at 513RWHP or so. Mo drove in it to the track on PUMP GAS, put on ET's for the rear and ran 3 consecutive passes of 12.0X. I thought that was very impressive for a 4,000 lbs car. I have yet to see even a 865RWHP car run such consecutive passes on PUMP GAS. There are a lot of high HP cars that are called "dyno queens" as everyone knows that such high boost levels are not attainable on PUMP GAS and even with race gas, not reliable on the street. In short, I would expect a modest 500RWHP with an awesome spool on PUMP GAS. I don't think MO wants to release any other info about 4 digit HP #'s in a GS The whole point behind this setup was to make an ultimate 4 door street sedan. By "street," I mean pump gas, quick spool, and reliability. So, NO, don't expect the TT GS to be anywhere close to 865RWHP..........yet

PS. If you have a problem with anything I said, talk to my friend here....... http://www.lexushp.com/MrScorpion.jpg

I don't have a problem with anything you said, and hope you don't have a problem with anything I said.

I thought that old car was always touted as "700hp" on "pump gas" or whatever.

When my car was on street tires with the 63 it ran 11.5x like 5 consecutive passes on its pump gas setting the first time out. I don't think my car weighs 4000 lbs, but I am pretty sure it is upper 3000s, and that was nowhere near "700hp". Then again, perhaps the "700hp" car is a different one than the 12.0 car.

Yes, my car runs on race gas now. So do almost all real FAST cars j/k

It's cool. Got too much respect for you to have a problem with what you said. Also, I think you are talking about the same car as I am, but oh well. Maybe when I get my baby back you can give me a few pointers on driving since I think you did very well at the track under the conditions you stated.

You know, I am glad that everyone here is 1000x more mature than on other forums, where they go into tantrums when you question anything.

I really hope to someday be able to meet up with everyone at some sort of national meet or something. I will host it in KC if you guys want, it is dead center in the middle of the country

Ethan,
I agree with everything you said here. This forum is a great place because of the maturity level, hard to find in other forums.

I used to belong to Maxima.org, where the maturity level could go out the window in a heartbeat. However, they did have one thing we don't have here at CL.... a yearly National meet! Hint, hint Ethan (Static911)!
