Is paying $1350 with labor a good price for the F-Sport Exhaust? Let me know what you guys think. Thank you.

Seems quite high to me... Sewell sells this for $1067 at the CL price... shipping is around $50.

Install time, with a couple wrenches and ramps in a parking lot, is 15 minutes... so I wouldn't pay a shop at all for it, but if I did I sure as heck wouldn't pay more than 30 minutes of labor ($30-50 bucks) given it'll actually take them 10 minutes, tops.

So you're overpaying by around 200 bucks from my estimate (even with paying for install)

Thank you for the quick response. I was thinking the same thing when I received the estimate. The parts from Sewell do they come with any warranty?

I was being charged 150 for labor for an hours work. Makes me laugh hearing it only takes about 15 minutes to do this process.

Took me around 25 min I think. Can't remember and I'm a total noob around car parts. Wrench, wd-40, some type of water based lube for the rubber thingys, ramp/jack and you're done.

All F-sport parts come with a 1 year warranty.

If you overpay to have a dealer install them then the warranty becomes either:
1 year
or
Remainder of your factory warranty

whichever is longer.

Note however, this is just an axle-back exhaust.... a few pipes with no moving parts. I can't imagine why you'd ever need any warranty on it at all unless it shows up damaged in shipping (and even that that's not really a warranty issue)

The only F-sport parts I could see any value at all to a 'longer' warranty on are the springs/shocks.

too high.. if you dont have the right tools and garage try to ask a friend to help you. it only takes less than 20 minutes from start to finish! even IF a shop charges you for an hour labor, it shouldn't cost $150.

Only 15 minutes to do this? WOW, a shop I talked to said 2 hours of labor to install a dual exhaust would be $160. Then someone I know said he could do it for $100 but at least that was cheaper than the shop I talked to.

$50 for install seems much more fair then!

Was that on black friday? Right now it's 1124 with shipping. Still a better price than what I was quoted. Just need to find a place to do the labor for cheap.

Best bet would to shop around for shops to install the exhaust. I didn't have the tools so I shopped around and found a local shop to install the exhaust for $75 and the wait time was only 25 minutes. Anthing over $150 would be too much in IMHO. Good luck.

Really, do it yourself. It's incredibly, incredibly easy. Back the car onto a pair of rhino ramps and you'll be done 15 minutes later. Maybe 20-30 if you've never done it before.

15 minutes for an axle-back like the F-sport... if you wanted a shop to do a FULL dual exhaust (like the Joe Z) that's a bit more work... though I'd still find 2 hours a bit high for a shop with a lift and air tools.
