question about cam gears and crank pulley

Default question about cam gears and crank pulley

hey friend who owns is3 here in colordo just told me that cam gears and crank pulley is bad idea for gs. is it true? did anybody had them installed to their gs? I am thinking about cancelling the order. help plz.

Did you ask why especially for the GS?

Why does he think it's a bad idea?

I would not trust him if he does not have an explanation for why he thinks it's bad.

If done right, they are both excellent mods. Then again, like any performance modification, there is always a risk to the engine. The good thing is that the V8 block is very, very strong.

he heard something about harmonic balancer that will be out or something.
still debating.

I'd look at this article by steve dinan before I messed with my crank pulley!
