IPT or level10
alright guys, so im contemplating building my trans on my gs300. it blew out a month ago and haven't decided what to do. i been thinking of buying the level10 bullet proof kit or the ipt rebuild kit. just looking for some insight from some people who have past experience. thanks in advance

To be honest both built transmissions are about the same price - around $3200-3500 for them to build your trans. Their kits, around $600 for the IPT rebuilt kit. Not to sure about the price on the Level 10 kit though.
jzs160 how do you like your ipt components and how are they holding up?
I have the IPT built trans. But if I could do it over again I would contact JeffTsai. He builds em as well and though his is not a household name, he can do it and has the personal experience of what fails....He pushes his transmissions hard and finds the weak points.
Any auto trans built for the GS will NOT be bulletproof. Anyone who tells you otherwise is pulling your leg. It can be made to withstand stresses, but at some point it will fail if pushed to the limit. I firmly believe if you stay below 450 rwhp, you should be safe. Good luck

I have a 2jz trans, and id like to start cranking up the boost myself. Ipt is two towns over from me... But i also saw boost logic have a nice rebuild also. I wonder what i should do. (dont mean to thread jack)
