I did a little search and couldn't find anything within the past few years. I did see the thread started by MVP. Are they the only ones that build a stoker block for the 4.0/4.3? I am curious what a nice stroker block along with some worked over heads would put out.
i think the last time i looked a good stroker motor fully assembled was in the 30k range though making about 600+ NA hp. its not cheap and IMHO more feasible to do a LS swap
Holy *****. Yeah if they are gonna run that much I may have to look at an off brand swap. I'd rather keep it all Lexus but that is a bit pricey. Maybe I'll have to look in to doing the labor myself. I have seen used short blocks going for a few hundred.
i would LOVE to have a stroker NA v8 but its just not cost efficient with the lexus motor.....
i was looking into building my heads awhile ago and it was gonna cost me like 4-5k with cams, springs, retainers, valves, head studs, etc etc...i was like um for that kind of $ i will pull it and do a LS2 swap.....so i bought my mounts from mike for the swap
nm...stay away from that cowboy, after looking at some old posts of his, post #20 starts the snowball....read and click on the other threads and read some more. no wonder he isnt a moderator here anymore
Yeah I noticed his ID was banned. Probably not be talking to him. Maybe I will drop a Coyote 5.0 in to one. =) FRPP sells the harness and computer for swaps. With a 6 speed auto it should be pretty nice.
Ok this is looking a little more promising. This company does have a forged option. At $7800 I wouldn't say it's a deal by any means but it's half has much as the other kits.
its ALSO the same kit i linked just on a different site....look at the pictures vince, they the same
yea its the same. from what i been reading n what not awhile i go i THINK cowboy might be the owner of the site that sells it?? kinda coincidental that he has all their parts maybe?

I've contacted a local engine builder that specializes in Lexus/Toyota stuff. Will see if they have any ideas to keep cost down. If not I may be stuck with doing some forged internals and a pair of turbos. Will see what comes of it.
