I feel your pain. Same thing happened to me. Wife got the IS250 AWD. Then we decided to have a child and found out that the infant seat won't really fit in the back of an IS. So the wife got a new Rav4 and I got the IS. Sadly, the Rav4 is a Limited with the V6 in it and will outrun the IS by a LONG SHOT.
The Lexus baby seat would fix that problem!
The 2IS was never meant to be a "tuner-friendly" car....let alone the IS250. I will tell you this much, it is a great car for every day driving and has great reliability. If your really not digging the performance, trade up to a IS350. The extra almost 100HP is a very noticeable difference. Just like any car out there, you will want more and more and more...im beginning to get bored of my IS350 and am seriously looking to step up as well. Good luck...
