Default Ok.. 2JZGTE motor is ordered.. Time to start getting everything lined up

Ok guys..

Did research, found 98-01 GS300's are perfect for 2JZGTE swaps.

So, I found a one owner, 2000 GS300 low mileage great condition silver exterior, black leather interior GS300 with no spoiler.

Im loving it!

Now, Ive ordered the complete 2JZGTE engine, transmission, wiring harness, ecu. Should be arriving in a week or two.

Next I need to make sure I have everything else figured out.

Im wanting to keep the stock twin turbos for now. Im reading that theres interference between the heater core coolant line and the stock twins. I can get around that, no problem.

Im reading that theres a longer coolant line needed, no problem.

Supra turbo throttle cable needed, no problem.

Now, will I need to run a return line, regulator? Im wanting to keep everything as stock as possible for now (except for front mount intercooler and charge piping of course). I see several people have run return lines but it seems like its always guys who've converted over to single turbos.

Any other pointers on what else Ill need to get this running parts wise?

Thanks guys!
Cory

You should run a return, the gte has a fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail so you need to run a return line to the gas tank and eliminate the regulator in the tank. Most here have used a jet pump killer to accomplish this and keep the siphon system working.. There's a few diy photo threads around on adding a return line.

You also need the driveshaft, and a remote mounted power steering reservoir.
