New To The Forums
Whats up everyone, im new to the forums and had a few questions. I recently purchased a 1999 GS300. I love the car but like all my cars I cant leave it alone. I was orignally a Honda guy and had several fully built hondas but I wanted Something bigger that me and the family could enjoy but still be fast. What would be some recommendations you would give me to make this bad boy faster. Im digging the JDM Aristo look, but im interested in performance. I've been reading about the 2jzge and 2jzgte, but apparently thats complicated. What could iI do that wont break the bank. Thanks in advance

nothing. You wont make a gs300 fast with out breaking the bank considering they have 2jz-ge's and weigh around 3500 lbs. You could turbo your stock motor for cheaper then a 2jz-gte swap, but most likely wont last as long as swapping in a 2jz-gte. The 2gs has more options as far as intakes, exhaust, and headers, but nothing thats going to make real differences you're performance oriented......you're going to have to get 1 or 2 turbos on there or 2 more cylinders + a supercharger.
