whats up everyone..
i purchased a 2jzgte vvti twin turbo engine and tran last fri..so now im waiting

in the mean time..
today me and some buddies are going to pulling out the existing engine and tran..

wish us luck..

i will keep everyone posted with pics

thanks everyone..i just got a delivery date for the engine..will arrive on weds..
yesterday we dropped the exhuast..removed tranny bolts..disconnected all engine parts..hopefully today we will get the engine and tranny out..

so far..no problems yet..still super early tho

anyone have any info on a rear diff..lsd?

we got the engine in..the power steering resevoir was broke so i need to get another one..

got a supra fuel pump...now i just got to figure out how to instal and mount...took out the old pump..

the new transmission yoke didnt line up on the drive draft...tomorrow we are going to try to take off the old yoke and hook it up on the tranny


any feedback is appreciated

strange i just finished mine an the yoke worked for me

what yr is yours?..
what did u do with the return fuel line...and did u have to loop off the heater because of the turbos being in the way?

The return line you drill the factory fuel assembly for a fitting and then run a new line to the back. The heater core tubes can be gently bent to reposition them.

heres where im at..
today i got a power steering reservoir from a salvage yard...
installed denso fuel pump..had to do some cutting on the bracket for it to fit..
ran a return fuel line back to the pump

still need a long throttole cable
hopefully tomorrow intake and intercooler will arrive

Mine is a 99, yes I have a return line , with a SARD jet pump killer, an walbro in tank ... I was actually able to keep the heater hose, yeah it was a b#*&@, but its in

I have a camry throttle cable I can sell you, got it from Lexus for 60$, ill let you have it for 40$ shipped , I was going to us it, but I worked out my OEM one ... PM me if you want it

its just me and another friend doing this swap..im a tattoo artist..dont know much about cars..but ill tell u what..over the last 3 weeks..i have learned a lot.

this is a great experience
