CL Please Help gs400 wont start until i gas it!

Default CL Please Help gs400 wont start until i gas it!

Almost every morning when i come out to the car i start it and it would crank up and then die on me like the rpm is too low.. Then i would gas it as soon as it cranks for a second and the car is fine... i have never seen the car above 700 rpm.. even when it is a cold morning... i am in ga and the weather is about 30 degrees in the morning.. any help would be greatly appreciated!!

thanks for the response guys but my check engine light comes on every few hundred miles and off throwing a catylic converter code then goes away after about 30 miles of being driven and will come on again within the next few hundred miles... and my gas pedal does not get stuck! Anymore help would be greatly appreciated

Check your pvc. Take it out and shake it. If it does not rattle that is your culprit.

im not to sure if the v8 IAC sensor may have to be replace or clean out just a idea out there

catalytic converter most likely is out...jack it up and bang on it, if one rattles thats the one

thanks guys for all the help! i cleaned the throttle body and maf sensor today and the car runs like a champ now!! idle is back to normal thanks again!
