please ppl. installed the srt today on my gs430.

Barely starts, Low idle and missfiring over 3000rpm. Rechecked the wiring and its correct. Will check so i didnt put maf upside down tomorow! Heard about having the fuse to ecu removed about an hour!

Any more leads?? Now im just so angry.. It barley starts and u can smell that i gets alot more gas than it should.

please help

 

and about the wiring! is itt suposed to have 2 lines connected to one?

 

there is more wires on the srt ecu box than places to connect! is it right to take two of the wires from srt ecu together and put it along with one connector? make sencse?

Sorry to wake up this tread but I just installed my SRT intake and have the exact same issue - the car idles very low and is misfiring, when you give it gas off idle it bogs out and/or pops through the intake - at higher RPM you can floor it and it goes but otherwise runs like crap.

Anyone else find out what was wrong?

 

im having the same issues after installing just the SRT intake on my 430 as well

 

Did you only install the intake or did you also get the ECU that goes with it. If you don't have the ECU the intake is scrap and won't work with you car period
