Default Mk1 Aristo 2JZGTE engine into Mk2 Lexus GS300

As per the title, how difficult it is to swap a 2JZGTE from a Mk1 Aristo into a Mk2 Lexus GS300? Yes, I know its much simpler to buy a 2JZGTE VVTi motor and do the transplant but here in my country, its basically very very difficult (not to mention expensive) to get hold of the VVTi motor.

FYI, I am from Brunei. I have found a front cut of a JZS147 Aristo V300 complete with gearbox, ecu, wiring loom etc for around USD$2k. But I am wondering if the mountings for the engines and gearbox are the same for mk1 and mk2?

the engine mounts are different. it won't be a bolt in affair. you will have to get some custom engine mount brackets made. and also the wiring won't be plug and play like it is with the vvti engine.
