Blitz Throttle Controller Or Sprint Booster??

If you're normally a very passive driver and want to occasionally feel like an aggressive one while still driving as you normally do, that it'll do for you.
If you want there to actually be any measurable performance difference, not so much.
It's kinda amusing as an entertainment mod, but it's not a performance one.
(and I should finally have specific #s to confirm that in the next week or two, though you'll find others elsewhere on the net who've already confirmed the same thing).
All that said, if you DO want one for entertainment purposes anyway, I'd go with the sprint booster because at least from my experience their customer service is outstanding and responsive and helpful, and they do offer a 30 day money back guarantee.

I have the D1 spec throttle controller. Same thing as the Blitz and M7 throttle controller. I got my unit and harness/adapter from AJ-Racing. Installed it myself and I enjoy playing with different modes as the car drives very differently in each of the modes. The advantage of it is that the drive-by-wire has a lag to it and this device gets rid of that. Anyhow, it doesn't add power/hp/tq per say, but it's a fun mod and you will enjoy more out of your car.

I've still yet to see anyone explain this "lag" or how it gets rid of it.
It physically sits between the gas pedal and the rest of the car.
The only thing it's capable of doing is lying about how far you pressed the gas.
It can't make the ECU or TB respond any faster to that input.
You'd get exactly as quick a response if you just hit the gas harder without the booster turned on.
It could be smoothing the input curve (you'd need real datalogging hardware to really be sure of that) but in the end the only thing it can be doing is telling the ECU "He pushed the gas X amount" and you'd get the identical car response if you'd actually pressed it X amount. Most folks don't normally drive that aggressively though...which leads us to-
That I agree with... if you turn it on and then forget it's there it's definitely fun for a while, because it makes the car act like you're being more aggressive on the gas pedal than you really are... though part of the testing I've been doing is to see if your brain tunes the changes back out after a while if you leave it on. More on that when I post my full review (hopefully later this weekend, time and weather allowing for the last testing I need to get done)

Before this thread dissolves into a "Just press the gas pedal further" repeat-a-thon , there are a couple differences between the two.
The Blitz Throttle Controller (which I have and enjoy) has three modes, whereas the Sprint Booster has two. The Blitz TC also costs about $100 more, but you're paying for the brand name, too. The Sprint Booster has an easier installation (so I've been told). Also Sprint Booster is a current vendor on this forum, and I'm always in favor of supporting our CL vendors.
I think you'd be happy with either system.
