Most of my parts came from Swift Racing (SRT). If you check thier site, their turbo kits go for $6k. That's just the kit. I got the main stuff from them including turbo manifold, turbo, Haltech f10x with wire harness, wastegate, fuel pump and intake pipe. I Have a whole parts list here in the performance section. On top of all the major parts you need, I still got 650cc injectors, adjustable fuel presure regulator3mm head gasket, and AEM wideband. My car is as reliable as can be. I recently took a road trip from NYC to Baltimore. No worries .

A 1jz swap is alot more work than NA-T or a 2jz swap. You're going to need a custom wire harness and a stand alone ECU to make it all work. Not to mention even if the 1j makes 400 hp, it will make less torque than any of the 2jz's because it's a lower displacement engine. I don't know of anyone on here with a 1jz in a 2GS. I'm not sure if you'll be willing to be the first knowing that you're on a budget.

Well as far as the custom wire harness my friend is going to do it for $500 was not aware of the ECU problem doe.Now by you telling me that maybe there is no one that has a 1jz in a 2gs kind of makes me want to try it lol.I guess i will do alittle more research on it and go from there thanks for your help

Are you puttin an old azz 1jz gte in a gs or a newer 1jzgte vvti, because if your putting an old 1jzgte in a gs you might as well save your money and time my man.
