Default Blitz Twin Compressor kit Soarer UZZ40 3UZ-FE

I remember and searched to confirm a thread about a Blitz developed supercharger. But no pictures was ever posted I don't think. The thread goes back to 03, but haven't seen anything since. But here you go for sale in Europe.

yeah sam got it....UK£ 8 076.66 = $12,583.44 U.S. dollars than tax and then shipping and then installation if your not doing it yourself

yeah and then on top of that it was designed for the SC430 _(if i recall correctly) so you would probably have to rework the piping IF this would even work at all. for that kind of $ i dont wanna have to rework ANYTHING

it sits on top of the mani...the intake pipe probably wouldn't need much tweaking to work...

guys....sorry to hijack this thread, but as it relates to price, isn't it much more cost prohibitive to just go with some kind of custom nitrous set up?

awhile ago when I met with Todd at TM, he said he could do an entire custom nitrous set up with tune for $3K.

after hearing the nightmare stories (as it relates to the tranny and expense) of going turbo and supercharger FI, isn't a nitrous set up the cheap and easy way to go?

any updates on nitrous set ups?

Good point. I'm surprised that there aren't many guys that bottle feed their Lexus. As long as the setup is done right there shouldn't be problems, then again that also applies to Turbo and SC. I say go for it ..

Why would you need a "custom" kit?! All you really need is a wet fogger system. Now if you want equal distrubution to all cylinders you can go with a direct port system, but I don't see how that equals 3k.

FYI, although nitros is a cheap power adder, over time the cheap power begins to add up. Filling up the bottle is not free and depending where you refill, it can start to get expensive.

I saw that car on YouTube, they put together a pretty solid blower setup for only $3-4000 if I remember correctly? It was only able to run about 7-8lbs but it was a much better $/hp than that Blitz kit for $12,5 a decade ago.

didn’t realize that this setup involved 2 separate blowers on it, when I first read it I assumed the reference of “twin Compressors” was referring to a twin rotors. I was just looking at the photo and noticed it actually has 2 blowers mounted on there! Seems a little over the top for a stock 3UZ. I would have assumed that a single was capable of putting out more boost than it would be able to use? And harder to get the belt to to stay on tight at higher rpms when it’s only in contact with about 25% of the blower pulleys.
The unit I was referencing was just a single roots type blower off of a mustang cobra. There is a new kit available that has a new lower intake and moves the factory throttle body off to the side, and then routing the air into the rear of the now manifold. Similar to how Ford sets up the Blower in a Mustang Cobra. The kit doesn’t involve any type of Intercooler so the boost is somewhat limited. I think it would be a great candidate for a methanol injection kit to chemically cool the incoming air temperature. There is a YouTube series with the install on a Canadian Celsiure. And finishes with some dynamo runs and tuning. It’s been a few months since I watched it but I believe the company who sells the kit includes a factory ecu that has been remapped to accommodate the extra fuel loads and timing adjustments. So the kit didn’t require a new management system. And was a very affordable way to get your C8 up to 300 rwhp. I will look up the videos and include a link.
