Default Quick question Joe Z intake

Is it worth it, yes or no. I know its only $125, lol but still I want to know if its worth it. I already order a midpipe and megan exhaust. But i havnt installed them yet.. I figure if i put all 3 parts on at once i should feel a difference...

Of the 3 things in question it's the only one that really fits my criteria for "worth it" in that it adds 5 hp for only $125.... that's a mere $25 per hp.

The exhaust is $75-100 per hp added... the midpipe is considerably worse than even that given it only adds 1-2 hp.

i installed my joe z about a week ago and love it. It was definitly worth the 125 as stated above. You wont see a better deal on the market imo.

If spending that much on an exhaust is worth it, then consider the Joe-Z intake winning the lottery

Ok, maybe that was a little much, but you get the picture

I just helped a buddy out yesterday with his Joe-Z intake, and it's the best quality intake I've seen so far, I should know, I'm an intake and exhaust *****

Thank man. It's just the pipe? Dunno how that is suppose to give me 5whp. It does look cool though. But then again I would have to drive around without a hood for anyone to notice.

It's all about air flow my friend. Allowing for air to cool your engine efficiently is the key as well as creating a pipe that has as much limited airflow restriction as possible, which is where Air Filters come in also lol. Just think AIR = Good

because the stock pipe has a resonator chamber that slows down the airflow to be more quiet. also the accordian ribs slow down the airflow.

think of water flowing through a smooth pipe and another pipe with a chamber and accordian things on the side. which will flow faster?
